About
Known in Japan for its century-old fruit farming tradition, the orchard town of Matsukawa has seen a surge in wine and cider production over the past ten years.
Despite its modest size, the town can boast three breweries, which use the region’s fine fruit to produce cider, wine, and brandy.
Each brewery is unique, experimenting with blending, yeast selection, and aging techniques to come up with new and original products.
Join this tour to see the orchards, meet the farmers and brewers, learn the secrets of the trade, and most importantly, taste seven types of cider and wines.
We provide an English-speaking guide to help you communicate with the producers, and a private taxi so all participants can drink.
